🎬 C-Flow Video Recording Guide

Step-by-step guide to create a professional screen recording presentation of C-Flow.

  1. 1.Close all unnecessary browser tabs and apps — keep only C-Flow open.
  2. 2.Set your browser to full screen (F11 on Windows / Cmd+Ctrl+F on Mac).
  3. 3.Set screen resolution to 1920×1080 (Full HD) for the sharpest result.
  4. 4.Use Chrome or Edge for the best display of the app.
  5. 5.Log in with a demo account that already has sample shipments loaded.
  6. 6.Prepare a quiet environment — no notifications, no background noise.
  7. 7.If using a microphone, do a quick audio test before starting.
  8. 8.Disable all desktop notifications (Do Not Disturb mode).
  1. 1.Recommended FREE tool: Loom (www.loom.com) — records screen + webcam + mic in one click.
  2. 2.Alternative: OBS Studio (free, advanced) — best for HD quality and full control.
  3. 3.Mac users: QuickTime Player (built-in) → File → New Screen Recording.
  4. 4.Windows users: Xbox Game Bar (Win+G) for quick capture.
  5. 5.For Loom: install the Chrome extension, click the Loom icon → choose 'Screen Only' or 'Screen + Cam'.
  6. 6.Make sure to select 'Record entire screen' (not just a window) to avoid accidental cut-offs.
  1. 1.[0:00–0:20] INTRO — Open the C-Flow homepage. Say: 'This is C-Flow — a collaborative platform for managing ocean freight shipments in real time.'
  2. 2.[0:20–0:50] DASHBOARD — Show the main dashboard with shipments listed. Highlight status badges (booked, in transit, arrived). Point out the search bar and filters.
  3. 3.[0:50–1:30] SHIPMENT ROOM — Click into one shipment. Walk through: Timeline milestones, Documents tab, Notes board, Participants panel.
  4. 4.[1:30–2:00] CREATE SHIPMENT — Click 'New Shipment'. Show the form tabs (Basic Info, Voyage, Cargo, Parties). Mention the PDF import feature.
  5. 5.[2:00–2:20] SHARE & COLLABORATE — Show the share code feature. Explain: 'Each party — shipper, consignee, agent — joins with this code and sees only what they need.'
  6. 6.[2:20–2:40] DOCUMENTS — Upload a sample document. Show how it gets categorized automatically. Mention visibility and approval controls.
  7. 7.[2:40–3:00] CLOSING — Go back to dashboard. Say: 'C-Flow keeps everyone aligned — no emails, no confusion, just one shared space for the whole shipment journey.'
  1. 1.Move your mouse slowly and deliberately — fast movements are hard to follow.
  2. 2.Pause for 1–2 seconds on each key screen before moving on.
  3. 3.Speak clearly and at a moderate pace. Smile — it comes through in your voice.
  4. 4.Use the cursor as a pointer: hover over elements when you mention them.
  5. 5.If you make a mistake, pause, take a breath, and continue — you can cut it in editing.
  6. 6.Aim for a total length of 2–3 minutes maximum for a promo video.
  7. 7.Record in one take if possible — it sounds more natural.
  1. 1.Use Loom's built-in editor to trim the start/end and cut any long pauses.
  2. 2.For more editing: import the file into CapCut (free), DaVinci Resolve (free), or iMovie (Mac).
  3. 3.Add a title card at the beginning: 'C-Flow — Easy NOT Busy' with your logo.
  4. 4.Add simple text captions for each section (e.g. 'The Dashboard', 'Add a Document').
  5. 5.Export as MP4, 1080p, at least 24fps.
  6. 6.Keep file size under 500MB for easy sharing.
  7. 7.Upload to: Loom link, YouTube (unlisted), or Google Drive for sharing with stakeholders.
  8. 8.Share the link in your pitch deck or email it directly to prospects.
  1. 1.Focus only on 3 things: Dashboard overview → Shipment Room → Share Code.
  2. 2.No voiceover needed — add bold text captions instead.
  3. 3.Use upbeat background music (Epidemic Sound or YouTube Audio Library — free).
  4. 4.Export as a square (1080×1080) or vertical (1080×1920) for Instagram/LinkedIn Reels.
  5. 5.Hook in the first 3 seconds: start with the dashboard already loaded and animated.
💡 Pro tip: Do a full dry-run (practice without recording) at least once before hitting record. Familiarity with the flow makes a huge difference in confidence and delivery.
